First safety tip is to avoid teens ( 13 -18) from driving until they are not eligible. Give them the wheel only when they become 18. They should not be given the car just because they are forcing you or requesting you to drive the car , their illegal demand may cost to life.
Hire an expert to teach them how to drive and handle a car or you can personally take their driving classes which Imparts the good knowledge and habits for driving and ensure that they follow the traffic rules and regulations.
De-motivate, the usage of gadgets like phones , iPods, eating food and putting on makeup while driving .
Avoid driving in the Night time in the starting because mostly the car crashes by young drivers are reported during the night.
Initially , don’t give them a big SUV or a big vehicle , start from a moderate size car that could be a sedan or hatchback type of car. Instruct them and teach them about the various safety features like antilock brake, airbags, automatic seat belt etc , as these features will play a measure role in terms of emergency. Ensure that they wear the seat belt every time they drive a car and encourage other person to wear the seatbelt always.
