Nissan announces support package for dealers and customers
Nissan Motor India Private Limited (NMIPL) on Tuesday announced a support package for Nissan and Datsun dealers and customers in a letter to carmaker dealer partners.
According to the document dealers are exempt from offering customer offers/schemes and exchange programs to their dealer margin.
According to the package, in the first quarter of the current fiscal year, the company has decided to provide constructive assistance to manage fixed costs and to provide sales incentives based on the unit volume that is not related to targets.
Components of the Q4 FY20 are incentives, 50% of the March 2020 target profit, and the “Express Service Firm” eligibility reduction.
NMIPL Managing Director Rakesh Srivastava said, “Unprecedented preparedness requires the continued commitment of our customers to ensure the continuity of our services. As a customer-centric company, we offer key steps to address challenges, including improving your cash flow,” he said.
To compensate for inventory financing, NRFSI supported the retail finance program for “zero-mile” cars with an average of 30 days of credit-free duration during the lockdown period. n addition, to improve cash flow, the remaining corporate claims, warranty claim issuance, and incentive payouts for parts and claims will be processed by April 2020 for FY2020, which is the number of dealerships available on or before March 31, 2020.
The letter stated that after the automaker resumed operations, it would consider revising the warranty employment rate and extending the time limit for filing warranty claims. For customers, NMIPL extends the vehicle’s standard warranty, extended warranty, or service origination service for up to one month from the date of operation and provides emergency roadside assistance during the lockdown.
