FCA India has partnered with engineering non-profit organizations such as Sarvasya and United Way Mumbai in Chennai to distribute ‘family kits’ to 1,500 families in both cities. FCA India Engineering has partnered with Naidu Hospital Voluntary Health Services (VHS), run by the Pune Municipal Corporation, a non-profit hospital trust in Chennai. The 42-bed Covid Insulation Ward at VHS, the Air Evaluation System at Naidu Hospital, and the Medical Oxygen Pipeline for treating infected patients are provided with medical equipment. In addition to financial assistance, FCA India employees have volunteered a portion of their salary to make life easier for the poor.
Partha Dutta, President and Managing Director of FCA India said, “Our aim is to help people make waves in these difficult situations because they are taking crucial steps to spread the curve as quickly as possible. I am very proud that our staff has generously donated a portion of their salary to help with the relief efforts. ”
