Car Care – Clean Engine

Car care includes a lot of issues but cleaning your engine may not be our one of the important concern but it should be. Clean engine of the car makes all the work a lot easy, but people afraid of doing it they think that it may get damaged, but you can wash your car engine without much fear of ruining anything. While cleaning doesn’t ever compromise with any of the cautious part of the car like electrical parts and all other areas also, take precautions and the right tools to do the cleaning. Car engine will sound much better if you take a few minutes and clean it up. Once you start with the cleaning task, maintaining it with regularly will be more comfortable. The best time for cleaning the engine is morning time as it’s a fresh start with good motivation, but do remember don’t startup the process when engine is hot. Let’s have a look to the few simple steps to clean up your engine.

• Spray session for the Car Engine. Let’s say, if water is forcibly sprayed into delicate areas of the car like electronic components and connectors then there is no point of cleaning the engine because it will not work then. There are many cleaner are available in market who are “environmentally friendly”, they will work very well and they effect much the environment and you with the dangerous fumes when you breathe some of the fumes while cleaning.

• Brushing the Car Engine, Starting from covering all the parts so that they should not come in contact with water, like we have air filters, oil filler caps, parts of the ignition including the distributor and coil  with the electronic component such as wires , connectors etc. Now the scrub it with the brush gently on the surface.

• Use the tools needed for Car Engine cleaning, wipe the dirt and leave it till it gets dry. After drying of it will be waxed because when it’s wet surface it is not at all recommended that wax and polish should not be applied on it. This will take time and a lot of patience but definitely adds the cleanliness and a fresh service to the car engine and its performance that may be degrading due to the carelessness and time in car repair servicing. And finally last not the least uncover all the parts of the car and let it dry in shady space so that it will actually get some time to dry and relax .
