Are you up to help your car perform well?

All cars are the same on their production. However, once you own a car, the performance of your proud possession depends on how well you maintain it. There are a few tips that I can give you on maintaining your car engine.

Increasing displacement will mean more power since during each revolution, your car engine can burn more gas/petrol. Increasing the size of the cylinder or the number of cylinders can do this. The practical limit is up to 12 cylinders.

Increasing the compression ratio in cars is found to significantly enhance power production to a certain point. The underlying principle is simple, the more you compress the fuel mixture, it is more prone to burst into flame at once.

Stuffing more air into the cylinder will release more power from the cylinder in the same way how it happened when you increased the size of the cylinder. Turbo chargers and super chargers are known to adequately pressurize the air flowing inside in a way more air is crammed inside the cylinder.

Cooling the incoming air will increase the engine performance since the cooler the air, the more it will expand while combustion occurs. This is why several high end cars use intercooler radiator specially installed through which the compressed air is passed before it enters the cylinder.

If the piston moves down during the intake stroke, the ensuing air resistance will steal power from the engine. However, there is a way to reduce the air resistance by installing two intake valves in each of the cylinders. Air flow can be improved by installing bigger air filters.

Easing the exit of exhaust fumes from the car engine will avoid the robbing of engine power by the process.  This can be achieved by installing an additional exhaust valve to each cylinder. You can understand this from the fact that cars with dual exhaust have two exhaust pipes to fasten the exhaust process and enhance the engine performance.

The lighter your car, the better will be its performance. Ensure that the parts installed are as lighter as possible. The last thing you can do is to inject the fuel which will enable a precise metering of the fuel to each of the cylinders that would enhance performance besides ensuring the economy of the fuel.
