I am Maruti Alto 2004 LX I buy used car before 10 days. I want to a Ask my car RPM increase at the time of start and than normal and fluctuate every time and heat meter goes to middle after few minute of start.

Now a day all vehicles when they are cold RPM are high & become normal as soon as vehicle temp goes up. There is thermostat valve fitted in vehicle which maintained the temp & it reaches to middle as soon as vehicle start.

I am planning to purchase used car, my daily run is up to 150 kms. My budget is up to 1 Lac, suggest me about the fuel to be used and model up to which year I shall go for?

If your running is 150 km per day than you should go for vehicle with CNG or diesel you can have the CNG Santro 2001 in 1 lac and you can have diesel indica 2004 in this amount.

Whenever you go for the first service just read the instructions and work to be done on the service book of the manufacturer and get it done from the workshop. Generally all nut and bolts should be checked for the tightening .

Hi, I have Santro Zing XL 2006 model ... Of late for quite few months, when I turn on the aircon the engine speed becomes high & vibration is also felt high. No issues when I run without air on. Plz suggest. Thanks!!

Your AC idle relay needs to be checked . Please get the same checked if there is some problem than get the same changed. If the problem persists than please get it checked at showroom by the computer scanner the problem will be solved.

we have booked Maruti wagon r when we get the car?

I have a Maruti 800 1999 Model Recently I took it to Marti service center as I was getting some Kerr kind of sound, the mechanic on inspection said the water body needs to be replaced and so was done but even after replacing the water body the sound kept coming he then opened up the chamber and found trust washers lying in it he tried to fix those fallen thrust washed in place but was unable to do so at last took the engine off and dismantled it to see that the crankshaft got worn-out and so also the block from where the thrust washer had fallen the reorder says that repairing of block wont be success full plz suggest what can be done under this situation

I have 2001 model Santo. When the engine is in cold condition (for eg: starting after a gap of 4 hrs) and if I start and switch on the AC, the AC runs. But when I move forward and change gears (1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd), the engine switches off. But when the engine is warm (i.e after about 15-20 minutes of running) then there is no problem and AC and engine runs smoothly. Also if I do not use AC, then there is no problem of engine switching off even if it is in cool down condition. Please tell me whether the problem is with the engine or AC?

I have a Maruti 800 MPFI car with me which am about 10 year old. It’s fitted with CNG, but due to prolonged non usage the CNG kit system is not in working condition. The gas flow is not consistent. Kindly suggest what needs to be done in order to make it fully functional.
