I have a Maruti 800 2008 model n recently after n before changing the IFC valve the mileage is very low. The petrol consumption is high.

Dear Marc, Is it IAC valve or IFC? Before and after valve replacement the mileage is same seems that ifc has no effect may be replacement was not required even. It is difficult to predict with further diagnosis. The function of IAC vale is to regulate fuel and air at different stages. Can you check color of exhaust smoke, if it black probably fuel is not burning complete. If it is normal please consult expert service technician for better symptomatic diagnosis.
